My name is Shonna, founder of KK Aesthetics & Beauty Academy and KK Femme Balance.

My journey into aesthetics began with one simple goal — to create a better future for myself and my children, while having the freedom and flexibility to be present for the moments that matter most.

What started as a career choice quickly developed into a genuine passion for aesthetics, education, beauty and wellness. From starting in my living room to opening my own clinic and training academy, I've built my businesses through determination, hard work and a desire to help others achieve their goals.

​

Throughout my own training, I experienced first-hand the dedication, skill and confidence needed to succeed in this industry. This inspired me to create an academy that offers not only high-quality education and practical training but also ongoing mentorship, encouragement and support.

My Passion for Women's Wellness

Alongside aesthetics, I've always had a deep interest in natural wellness, herbal remedies and understanding how our bodies work.

​

Having personally experienced the challenges of living with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), Adenomyosis and PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder), I understand how much hormonal and menstrual health conditions can affect a woman's physical and emotional wellbeing.

​

My own experiences encouraged me to research herbs, nutrition, hormonal health and holistic approaches to supporting everyday wellbeing. What began as a personal journey of trying to understand and better support my own body developed into a genuine love for herbal wellness.

This passion inspired me to create KK Femme Balance, a women's wellness collection focused on self-care, herbal teas and products designed to complement a balanced lifestyle.

I wanted to create something that went beyond beauty — a collection inspired by real experiences, encouraging women to prioritise themselves, listen to their bodies and feel supported throughout their wellness journeys.

 

More Than Just Beauty

Both of my brands have been built around the same values: empowerment, education, confidence and helping others invest in themselves.

Whether I'm helping a student take their first steps towards a new career, supporting a client with their aesthetic goals or sharing my passion for women's wellness, my purpose remains the same.
